Lancia DW is a 15.2hh 1997 grey mare bred by DragonWood Farm.  She has the most outstanding temperament and is as sweet as they come.  She is also one of smartest horses I have ever worked with.  Lancia has big expressive gaits and is a joy to ride.  She is trained in the basic dressage and is a wonderful trail horse.  She passes her sweet easy going temperament on to her foals.  In 2002 she produced a lovely grey colt by Altanero D {Galan GA}. In January 2004,  Lancia  DW presented us with a fabulous grey colt by Indiano XVIII, Altivo DA. In 2006 Lancia gave us Clasico DA, a lovely, elegant colt by *Gaucho III. Lancia produced a lovely feminine filly by *Botijo M in 2007, Dulcinea DA. She will be open for 2009 as our 14 year old daughter has chosen Lancia as her riding partner.
