A beautiful 1994, Black mare standing 16hh, *Zingara VII was bred by Senora Maria Fernanda Escalera de la Escalera in Sevilla Spain. The Escalera horses, bred for over 200 years, are known for their beauty and functionality as well as their wonderful temperaments.  Her sire Favorito XXX was Champion at SICAB. *Zingara has been shown in Dressage, Country Pleasure Driving and in Country Pleasure Saddle Seat. She has also been trail ridden as well as producing some lovely foals for her importers, Skelton Mountain Dream Ranch of Colorado USA. We feel very fortunate to have been entrusted with such a wonderful Pure Spanish Treasure. In 2005 *Zingara VII produced a wonderful filly sired by *Enamorado VII, Briosa DA who will be retained for our breeding program. *Zingara VII produced the large Black colt Consejo DA in 2006. Sired by the *Doctor XIV son Erudito, Consejo is so outstanding we repeated the cross for 2007. We were given another wonderful black colt, Demetrio DA. *Zingara was bred to the Qualified Dressage stallion *Dominante XXIX for 2008 and produced an outstanding bay filly, Ermitania DA, who is being retained. Zingara will be bred to Fenix XXXIII for a 2012 foal.
