Ok, I admit I purchased this one for COLOR, Buckskin/Baya has always been my favorite. However I just can’t substitute color for quality. I traveled to Spain in November of 2009 specifically looking for a Buckskin P.R.E. stallion. I had a wonderful trip with super hosts, I saw literally hundreds of horses. There were so many I would have loved to bring home...my realist hubby said pick one. Tuno PM wasn’t for sale when his breeder Paco Marti brought him out to show me, but he had so much of what I wanted. Tuno is a Baroque Spanish horse that happens to be Buckskin. He is true to type and temperament. Tuno PM is the son of Carmello II, one of Paco Marti’s original Buckskin/Baya stallions. His dam is Tundaca whose bloodlines are primarily Military and Terry/Bocado. Tuno is an Approved stallion and because of his quality covered 14 mares as a three year old in Spain.
Tuno PM is available to approved outside mares. His 2012 stud fee will be $3,500. This is a LFG breeding available only by shipped fresh cooled semen. { Approved outcrosses $2,500 }
