Castiza DA is out of our fabulous Qualified mare *Latina VII and by Imperioso D. Like her sire and dam, Castiza not only posses size, substance and power but is incredibly "Spanish"! Castiza has a huge trot! As her name implies she is very well bred. Castiza's pedigree represents the Yeguada Militar, Antonio Disodo Galan, Cardenas, and Terry bloodlines. Her sire's sire, Granadino, is one of the last living sons of the great Leviton. Imperioso's dam is the stunning Cardenas mare *Quizas.

At the P.R.E. National Celebration and show in Las Vegas NV September 2006 Castiza DA, at four months of age,  was second place Suckling/Weanling fillies and BEST MOVEMENT! in her class! A wonderful beginning for a outstanding filly.

Famed Spanish horse photographer Paco Rey said about Castiza during his Summer 2011 visit that she was one of the most impressive and spectacular ridden mares he has seen.

Castiza DA has wins in Spanish Morphology, Movement and in open Dressage. She has shown up to Intermediare I.

Castiza DA is our third QUALIFIED mare here at Dorado Andaluz, following her dam Latina VII and Carinosa CCXXXI.

Castiza DA has been confirmed in foal to our wonderful Botijo M for 2024. Botijo M has been shown through Grand Prix, Castiza DA has been shown through I1 and has several best movement and morphology wins and is graded Qualified. This foal is available in utero.

Castiza DA has given us five lovely foals. Heroe DA sired by Tuno PM, Lucero DA sired by Botijo M, Opalo DA sired by Travieso B II, Riaza DA sired by Botijo M and Sayulita DA sired by Botijo M.
